 I was given several boxes of this ammo recently.  The package is white, marked Federal Ammunition, Not For Resale, 223 Rem., 50 grn Jacketed Hollow Point, 2 49 Y530

 The ammo itself is in bright shiney cases, red sealant over the primer, head stamp  F C  223 Rem

 That was deflating.  I was kinda hoping for some exotic ammo intended for some tactical use.  It was given to me by a local officer, he was trying to clean up all the stuff he had laying around.
