What's the difference?  As far as I know, the only real difference is that the Picatinny rails have equally spaced (1/2" centers?) slots and the  "Weaver" rail does not.  Right?

If I'm wrong, please correct me.

Thanks in advance,
Eric

A Picatinny rail has a defining MIL-standard which must be adhered to, but a Weaver is not rigorously specified.  Most Weaver parts will work on a Picatinny rail, but YMMV.
