I'm asking because a local LE friend of mine was injured OTJ a few weeks back and is selling a lot of his stuff. He was asking me what he should ask for the gun, and I honestly have no clue. It's a MT6601 blue label w/ a 20" HBAR. It's in good shape with about 1K rounds through it, and he's still got the box, papers, and 2 20 round mags that came with it.

I'd like to kill two birds with one stone and get  this to someone w/ a state ban that could actually benefit from this and to get as much as possible for him without waiting too long for a sale.

Anyhow, what would be a good asking price for this?

Depends on who you ask....

Some say its used and worth less than a NIW rifle.....

Some say it gold and is worth $2000.00

I just closed a deal to send my preban lower away for a NIW lower.

BTW, I know nothing about Colt numbers, so if that is a special Clot, it may be worth a little more.

I don't think there's anything super special about it... But there's no telling. It's just a Blue Label pre-94 from what he described.
