I've got 10 mags of mk318 mod 0 you'll want something better for self defence than M855 but i do stock that as backup.

I read reviews that some people had blown primers and other issues relating to it being severely overloaded.

A good article? If you googled him, there should be dozens if not hundreds of links to his info.

Here is a link to many of his opinions:

Winchester moly-coated 64-grain PowerPointPlus, but that does you no good in choosing an ammo because it was discontinued several years ago.  I'm down to probably 275-300 rounds of it now. Been experimenting with the Federal Fusion MSR and PRVI 75 BTHP, and so far am very favorably impressed with both.

That said, there are a lot of good defensive-use choices out there in the AR calibers. Especially if you avoid the varmint bullets, and match the bullet weight to your gun (which isn't as big a problem now as it used to be), and see what your gun likes, there are many good options.

55gr 5.56 Gold Dots.  They shoot to the same POI as M193 in my rifle, but unfortunately Speer discontinued them several years ago.

I am getting low on T2 TAP and MK262, so I have a couple mags loaded with PRVI 75. Not quite as accurate as MK262, but good stuff.
