I have a 10.5" barreled A2 upper with the 5.5" suppressor.  There are NO marking of any kind on it.  The guy I got it from said he thought it was an older Armalite perhaps.  I can't find any ID marks at all except for the caliber markings on the barrel itself.  Any ideas?  It doesn't seem to be of any great quality.  You can see the finish is a bit lighter than the just-barely pre-ban 1994 Colt Sporter lower that it's on now, and it also has a slightly green tinge to it.  As a side note, my OKay 30 rounders do not like seating properly at all with this upper when they're loaded.  I have to REALLY slap the mags upward to seat, yet all of my older Adventurline and Colt 20 rounders seat just fine.

i have never seen a bushmaster xm/comando upper that had the rings at the base of the flashhider.

all the ones i have seen from bm are smooth and their uppers are much darker than that. also their bbls. are marked b mp c

close ups of the barrel markings would help.   the bbls i have seen with only caliber markings are model1 or m&a, forget which it was
