I have a TA31-F on a Larue mount with a Troy under it and plenty of clearance. I am not sure about the 40 though. Are you in PDX or outside of the area? I am over in Vancouver if you want to check out some gear before you spend the dough. If nothing else, I am trying to make it out to one of the PR shoots, and maybe I will run into you there.

all of mine have troy's mounted under them except for one which is mounted in the carry handle.

had one with an arms mounted under which was the 40 with the horizon cut but it would still contact the acog, didnt cause much of a problem other than slight finish wear and fit fine.

I swear by the 300M KAC. I'm about to have to put my money where my mouth is, as I landed on my ACOG yesterday when we took some fire.

+1

petagunner your ARMS#40L WILL fit no questions asked, and so will the regular ARMS#40 provided it has the cut horizon line on the small aperature. There may be minor contact, very minor, but it won't harm the ACOG whatsoever. I had an ARMS#40 on an older TA31 Donut model once and it was more than fine.

GG&G A2 under the TA11C on the AR-10.
MI A2 under the TA31F on an M4 SOCOM 14.5" carbine upper.

What kind of lighting did you use for this pic? Camera settings?

Thanks.
