Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Weaver rail gas block

Deos anyone have a Weaver rail gas block on their rifle? I'm thinking of building a flat top upper with a Weaver rail  gas block so I can use a removable fornt sight.
Does the handguard ring fit as it does on anormal gas block? I can't find any pictures on the web of a completed rifle with the removable front sight gas block.

Yes the either round or triangular foward handguard retainer fits behind the gasblock. I have a gasblock new for sale if you want one. There is a review of my work done on an AR upper with the same gasblock you are questioning on
