Looking at a geissele trigger for my AR-10. Looking at the SSA-E. anyone have experience with them or have thoughts on another trigger I should look at? Use rifle for long range shooting and take it hunting once in a while.

I put an SSA-E into my Iron Ridge Arms .308 build, and am very happy with it. I don't think you can do much better.

I have Timney triggers in both of mine. They work very well for me. I do prefer a single stage trigger in my rifles. Personal choice.

I have decided to swap out the SSA on the AR10 with a SSA-E on one of the AR15's, to help out on the 500 yard + shots.

My AR 10 A4 had an incredibly heavy trigger pull and it was hard to shoot decent groups with it. I put in a Geissele SSA-E. Terrific trigger. Groups now 1 moa or better.

Installed an American Trigger SR Gold in mine, very happy with it. It operates a bit differently than the other AR trigger options. Check out their website: http://www.americantrigger.com

I have 2 RRA's with their NM triggers and agree they are good triggers but I still like the Geissele SSA-E trigger better despite being 2X the price.
