Does this device interfere in any way with your sight picture?

Does it affect brightness?

I've used one once on a friend's rifle.  It seems to cut down light transmission by 10-20%.  I wouldn't say it interfered with my sight picture noticeably while shooting at the range - it might in more of a mixed background.

Yes, the Killflash does affect brightness. It isn't too bad since you use both eyes with the Aimpoint. You will notice the "honeycomb"pattern. The cool-factor does account for something though.

On my Reflex, i'd say it does, but not enough to be concerned about.

If you actually need to worry about a BG catching flash from your optics, that is.
