I cant seem to find any post ban uppers for my SBR project.

I want to make one of these as a fun gun.

Problem is no one makes a post ban upper for use with a registered SBR!!!!!!

Ugh!

Simply register the SBR,
Cut off the bayo lug and weld a brake on over the  threads. WAA-LAAH.

Hmmmmmm

Good idea... but brakes are loud!! Waaaaahhh!!

Thanks for the DUH moment, even though the brake is not my first choice.

go have Kurts Kustom build you one.  he's got a fake flash hider that looks really good.  you must be registering a postban..for the money you're paying to have all that done i would get a preban.  i've seen a few for very reasonable prices on the EE lately.  also saw a SIR rail for under $300 there!

You wouldn't want your 4" barrel AR to be loud [:O]

No but seriously, with that short a barrel a brake won't make a difference in noise.

i was looking at uppers on gunbroker and i found a couple prebans which might intreast you. I am not sure about the shorty regulations
due to the fact i live in newyork and i get it doggystyle from my political repersenatives. But the seller name is vlad2000 and the auction numbers are 12255621 and 12053386 they are both preban with 7.5 barrels with free float handguards, b.lugs and i belive the supressors are permantly attached to warn to they might be kinda pricy

Very simple solution to the problem.... thread protector, pinned on.

here is my post ban SBR rifle. i had KKF use one of his brakes. it works well for directing gas away from the shooter.

Better idea:

Screw the breake, have a professional cut off the threaded part of the barrel, and then recrown it, and you'll have an even shorter barrel!
