I have seen the opinions regarding Vulcan complete firearms and uppers. "Run away." What about stripped lower receivers?  Who makes them for Vulcan? Are they reliable and of good quality? I am in Cailfornia and can get a Vulcan but can't seem to get a line on a Stag so it may be all I can get.

since this might be your last chance and it would be worth more if it turned out great i dont see why not.

i have seen some in person and wouldnt pay more than $50, actually i wouldnt pay anything and just buy something else but thats not your case. i would really stay away from their plastic lowers though

I too was interested, but from what I can pick up the Vulcon lowers are not worth it.  The Fab 10 are better.  There is, however another option for us Califonians, check out calguns.com.  There is a group sale going on that sounds like it might help you.  You can find out more info if you search (above) for "pinned".    Hope this help you, good luck !!!    heavy.gif

I love mine. While I wouldn't own a Hesse anything, my Vulcan lower is really nice. They're sub-contacted to the same forge as the other brands. In fact, I ordered two more.

My Vulcan lower is just as good as my Stag lower.  No difference.  Vulcan contracts this out.

Thanks everyone for the replies.  I check it out tomorrow and if the finish is acceptable I will be building a carbine this weekend.

I just put together a Vulcan V-15 lower and everything went smoothly.  Wish I could say that about an Oly build a few years back.  Wanted a cheap blaster and this fit the bill.  That said, I do stay away from anything else from Hesse.
