I have had a vintage Weaver of El Paso V8 scope lying around for a while and havent been able to decide what to put it on until now. Using a cheap, carry handle, mount. I just added it to my M16A1 clone and very much enjoy the results. Sadly, I cant find my digital camera but I will have pics up soon. Until then here are some pics of a scope very much like mine.
There is just somthing cool about the old outside adjustment look.
I havent had the time to actually use it yet on anything besides a paper target but I like the crosshairs on these scopes. The crosshairs have three lines on each axis. I like it because on full zoom you have not only the normal crosshairs but the two extra bold lines form a nice box around the center.(it might as well say put target here)
