I prefer the Blue Force Gear VCAS. Primarily due to the adjustment mechanism. It is robust and easy to use. The problem I had when I was trying out hte LT/VTAC was what many others have had, the tail. I had issues with it and the adjuster , grabbing one istead of the other unless I was looking right at it.
Another reason I like the VCAS is that the webbing material is very heavy duty. I think it would be very difficut to wear the sling out. My Viking was showing some fraying on a wear point in about 6 months. The padding on the LT/VTAC would never ride exaclty where I wanted it to. So I would spend part of the time moving it to where I wanted it, and then having it move back to where I did not want it as I would run the weapon. So unless BFG get this resolved< i will be sticking to unpadded VCAS eta thought of more |

  I've got both BFG Vickers and Viking Tactics-LaRue two point slings and I like them both for different use. I prefer to use my Vickers sling on my lighter carbine and my LaRue on my heavier carbine because of the more comfortable padding. I'll also be waiting and will try the soon to be released Vickers with the new padding when they come out. |
