Pro. Better control in rapid fire, better pointing characteristics, and less perceived weight.

Pro... I have a SOG soft rubber grip on my rail and it is easy to  removed if I want. I like the control and feel of my 16in HBAR with it.

What about a TD using a samco M33 handguards, will it work?

You have to use one and decide for yourself.

Oops, I meant if it will fit without problems. Different websites say that the M33 is milspec. I just want to make sure before buying the TD.

I wouldn't screw around with a non free floated fore arm and a vertical grip. This really exagerates the wobble in the front end, and it drives me crazy.

So you are saying that a VG will be best on a FF barrel. Isn't that favoritism , LOL!!!

Nah, the M33 are tight and no wooble so I wouldn't worry. I guess I'll buy the TD and see.

What about weapon retention?  Big factor for me.

Ii don't know that its better for weapon retention, but I don't think it could be worse.

Pro... better weapons control, better wrist position (more comfortable), all out sexy looking on top of that afterall you must look cool in a firefight you know...

The first rule of shooting: Shoot good.

The second rule of shooting: Look good.

Third rule of shooting: if you can't shoot good, it is especially important that you look good.

Isn't the unofficial Green Berets motto "Always know where you are, If you dont then look like you know where you are"? Off topic but kinda fits the last couple posts...

I thought that the third rule was to have really cool one liners to throw out.
