This is a complete upper half, with barrel, handguard, ect, assembled, not just the upper receiver. No bolt, charging handle.

It's not complete if it doesn't have the b/bc/ch......., but assuming, (cause, again your not too clear on what ya got) a old SP1, 20" large pin upper, no FA or deflector, w/ triangle handguards.
They are listed here on the EE (Equipment Exchange) from $275 w/o b/bc/ch up to $500, complete w/ b/bc/ch, (these are 20" 1/12 twist uppers). Sorry for the snide comments, but I flunked ESP class. Mike |

It depends, what is the condition?
Is it COLT? what kind of barrel? small hole or large hole(SP-1)? pics? |

GI surp A1 uppers, without bolt and carrier, are selling for $200-$250, depending on condition. I bought one about 6 months ago WITH bolt, carrier, and cocking handle, 99% finish, 100% Colt, for $325, from a dealer at a show.
If it's a big hole Colt SP1 type, figure a bit less. IMO, anyonee trying to peddle a complete early upper for $500 (see above) is looking for a sucker. |
