Hello fokls!!

1st post and I looked around a bit for this but couldn't seem to locate anything. Feel free to bump me or redirect my question. So I recently installed a Ballistic Advantage 14.7" pencil barrel on my AR. I also "installed" the VG6 Gamma muzzle brake. However, the brake was extremely hard to hand screw on. Got it about halfway and then no give. My buddy and I backed it off and gave the threads a thorough look over and none seemed to be compromised. We used a wrench to finish it off and that went without much resistance. Both the barrel and brake are rated 1/2x28 so that isn't the issue. My question is, should this concern me? Eye test, nothing looked off center or crooked but I know even a fraction could cause some problems. Thanks in advance!

A few of us have encountered this issue lately.  There is a discussion and more info about it here:
