Is there a list somewhere that Id's upper recievers?. My latest has a keyhole on the right side so i'm guessing thats someones mark.

no one specific company made it i believe--but the keyhole is usually acredited to cerro forge

My Del-ton upper has a keyhole (Cerro) forge mark, some Bushmasters do, some DPMS uppers do, and more.  The best way to ID a factory barreled upper is to ID the barrel.  The upper receiver is nearly impossible to ID unless it has a factory engraving or mark like the RRA laser engravings or the Colt "C" mark.
