I have an Armalite mid length carbine.  I like it and I am building another rifle.  Lower is done, just need to buy an upper.

I was looking at a Rock River with the midlength, but then I realized there are many less options when it comes to stocks etc.

What are the mid lenght stock options out there?

Are there any real benefits to the mid length gas tube, or is that just bull.

I wanted a lite weight setup and saw a lite contour under fore grip midlength barrel.

Otherwise, I may just get the bushy superlight.
