I bought a 30 round magazine Union Camp Corp. that was made by Adventure Line Mfg. of Parsons, KS.
This was also printed on the plastic bag that the mag came in: VP-391 May 1975
Mil- B-117D
Type 1 Class B Style 2
Contract no. DAAA09-75-C-6142
NSN: 1005-00-921-5004
Are these mags any good or are they junk? Haven't used it yet, just wondered if anybody has any. Thanks.
Hey, found some info on Adventure Line but nothing on Union Camp. Found the info on Troy's FAQ mag post. Thanks Troy, anybody have any info on Union Camp Corp ?

Union Camp is a large paper/ packaging manufacturer. The item you have is a 30 round USGI magazine. I hope you haven't opened the plastic bag; the item is worth a bit more as they say NIW(New-in-wrapper). That's a keeper..........

It's an Adventure Line mag in a UC bag. Even the packaging used by the gov't contractors, in this case Adventure Line, had to be made to specifications and have it's own NSN. A serious mag collector might be interested in something sealed NIW from the 70s like that. Noah

Thanks for the info guys. It's really funny, I thought about opening the plastic bag up and getting a closer look at the magazine but decided not to. I think I'm going back on Monday to see if there are any more of these left. I paid 19.95 thinking I was getting a decent price for a GI mag. Guess I got kinda lucky.
