For $20 I'd pick up a used KAC

Get a KAC VFG on EE, I have seen them go for 20$ or less. I got mine on ebay for 18$ and its not a fake.

Bought a UTG foregrip for my Bushmaster carbine and it doesn't fit.  Make sure to check that it will fit yours.

I can not imagine why it wouldn't fit. I've had other brands that were much tighter.

I've seen them on ebay for about $15 I currently own one and I can say that I honestly like them.....not bad for the price....especially since I like a more thick grip.

Place it on top of the rail and give it a few hits with something hard.....I had to do that with one. It eventually came down to where I wanted it and didnt have any problems at all scratching the finish.

Have one. Very solid and feels good. For the price, it's worth it.

I bought an inexpensive Combat Arms 'stubby' to see if I even like the idea of a VFG, and now don't see any reason to replace it.

I didn't like the feel and length of the UTG. To long for my needs.

I have a UTG grip on mine along with the UTG rail covers.  Some people might knock UTG, but I love it.

I had one. Worked great, but the feel didnt work for me. A little too bulky. I swapped to a KAC

as a rule of thumb, i dont buy chicom stuff for real rifles and real use...that said, i'd opt for the used KAC for the same price, or if you just want to opt for a VFG on the cheap for the range, why not
