Just an update about some plinking ammo that I saw at Scheel's in Omaha yesterday. 250 round bulk packs of 55gr FMJ were going about $40, however the exact price escapes me right now.

I didn't buy any because I have never shot it through my Bushie for accuracy, and I know that it loves 55gr American Eagle which was $3.99/20, but I thought I would pass this on to the membership. I know that its no XM193 or Q3131A, but it seemed like a decent price for quality ammo.

Buy it ALL at that price. $160/ 1,000 is a great price. UMC is good ammo, and I have never had a problem with it.

YMMV

Agreed.

Does Scheel's ship ammo as well, or are they just a walk-in store?

Recently I tried some boxed UMC 55gr FMJBT from WallyWorld and was pretty impressed with the overall quality-especially considering the decent price.

While I didn't have my gun club's chrono handy it seemed to have plenty of snap, and was plenty accurate for range/training ammo.

I know that it was a good price, but I am not in the market for more plinking ammo right now. Yeah, I know that this is a sin.

I just wanted to give yall a chance.
