[ARCHIVED THREAD] - ULTRAMAX 75gr. HP Question

Just a quick question guys. With Black Hills being so hard to get and TAP being so expensive would the ULTRAMAX 75gr. Heavy Match Hollow Point be just about as effective? Anyone have any thoughts on this?

If you enjoy your rifle being in good working order and in one piece (and not being nicknamed "stumpy"), then I'd say stay away from ultracrap ammo.

I must be lucky. I've shot several hundreds of their 55 gr reman w/o a hitch.

You are lucky. You don't have to look very hard to find several kB!'s on the 'net from their ammo.

While Ultramax may be crap, I do not like seeing all remanufactured loads get painted with the same brush, as some do here.

I've shot 2K Hornady match remans and it is one of the best performing ammo I have ever used.
