Got my ARs set up so basically I have back ups.

One a little bit nicer than the other with them.

That's my new motto. I always wondered why people didn't have their back ups set up just like the primaries.

Beautiful rifles there! I'm a firm believer in having a backup for your main rifle and pistol.

Looks like a good idea to me.

RA, do you run taclights on any of them? If so, which type(s) do you prefer? NVGs instead-considering your line of work?

Just wondering...thanks in advance for the info and your service

I always wondered the same thing. Most of my defensive/carbine class carbines follow the same basic cookie cutter pattern.

OH MY GOD you set your ARs on the dirty ground without a blanket or anything? Oh man you better be cleaning those things right now....

Edit: Nice set up

I have a couple of TLR-1s I throw on there if I am using them at night without NVGs, I have a DBAL I put on if using with nightvision.

Because not everyone has the ability to, or wants to have $6000+ worth of identical rifles. I guess if the only thing you own your rifle for is class and possible SHTF, it makes sense. Although if SHTF, you won't be carrying 2 rifles. If you attend a lot of classes and want a second in case your primary goes down.

I personally like owning and shooting all different types of guns, and for guys with less money like me, you can't do that with have several identical rifles with top of the line accessories on the.

If you have two hands you need two rifles. And two backups....very nice

I've wanted to ask you this, but keep forgetting.... Have you tried the full strap for the MIAD with the entry stock? I keep milling over the idea of running my middy with the same entry stock.

The F/A one is my favorite for obvious reasons,

But the SR15E3 actually shoots the smoothest.
