I've noticed two things about my RRA LAR15 A4. Probably nothing to be concerned about at all but I thought I'd ask. First, the buttstock can be slightly rotated a hair. Not much, maybe 1/32". If you grab the butt with one hand and the reciever with your other you can slightly twist the butt stock. Discovered this by accident. It's not flex in the stock but actual rotation. Second, how much wear should the charging handle exibit in 1000 rounds? Mine seems to be excessive. Actually looks to be some galling. Much more than my previous AR (a DPMS).

I believe it's rotating on the buffer tube, not the other way around. I'll take a very carefully look today to make sure though. Care to make any comments on the charging handle wear?

Your stock rattling on the buffer tube is normal so don't worry about that, most AR's with non milspec buffer tubes do this, it's just another downside to mass production.  Unless you go with an aftermarket set up from Magpul, LMT, or Vltor that utilize milspec buffer tubes and tighter tolerances you'll just have to live it.

As for the charging handle, you wouldn't happen to have a Badger Ordnance tactical latch would you?  I've seen similar problems to what you're describing from people that have them and it comes from using a one handed charging motion.  When you pull the CH, it's designed to go straight back where there's the least amount of resistance and metal on metal contact.  When using a tac latch, pulling the CH causes it to rub against the upper receiver's raceway and cause what could be called "excessive wear," I'm not sure if you do this but I was just throwing it out there.

I figured about as much with the stock. As for the charging handle, it's not anything special, just the stock charging handle that all run of the mill AR's come with.
