Can the Troy mrf-cx 12" FSB cut out be used with a YHM front site tower/gas block? Or, can someone measure the inside of tjeir rail where the FSB is located? The YHM tower is 1 3/16" wide. I am concerned about the sides of the clamps hitting.

Thanks

I do not have the CX version, but the MX version so the dimension are the same, expect for where the cutout is located.

In short, no.  With modification.........yes.

Remove the sling swivel and tabs.
Need to buy (4) round head hex screws.  The stock screws protude just enough to hit the lower rail.
You will need to file down the top and bottom parts of the outside clamping area.

The older style with the bottom set screws works great on my SPRish build.

The rail arrived and you are correct. It's close and would work with some clearancing. I'm going to use a ARMS #41instead.

Thanks!
