The edge? For dot sights, Aimpoint crushes the Reflex. Even the newer model Reflex. Look at my avatar, there's no secret I'm a huge Trijicon fan and have been for years. The Trijicon Reflex II was the first optic I ever bought... ten years ago. The Reflex has a heavy tint to the window, it's tritium powered reticle can easily get washed out when looking from an area that is less lit than the area you are looking into, the newer models are huge and much heavier than the T1. The reticle in the Reflex is even larger in comparison.
The Aimpoint Micro's are small, light, durable, have amazing battery life etc. etc. I'm not saying to buy what everyone else buys simply because it's what everyone else buys. But there's a reason you will look around at pics of guns have to really search to find a gun with a Reflex, while it will be difficult for you to find a gun without a Micro.
