I went with an ARMS #19ACOG to hold my ACOG to my FAL - works well. I like the levers more than thumb screws. I always torque down the thumb screws with a BAS (Big Ass Screwdriver) but don't carry a BAS with me at all times. The mount blocks the view of my iron sights so in the event of a failure of my ACOG I'd like to be able to remove the sight - that means levels to me.

Thanks for the pic, Paul. That was downright decent of you.
That FAL must be a pretty sweet setup. Luckily for me, the ARMS HK mount is raised with a peepsight for iron sights. I don't doubt the resiliency of the ACOG but I still keep my iron sights ready. Thanks again! |
