What is the warranty period on a Trijicon ACOG?  Also is it transferable to a new owner?  I'm interested in buy one off the EE or ebay(to save a few dollars, haha), but just wondering about the warranty.

It will be covered.
Their warranty is great.

Be careful

There are loads of bootlegged ACOGs these days, and when a scope sells for $700 - $1,500, it brings out the thieves.

From airsoft clones, to outright fakes, it pays to beware.

while this may only be 1 or 2 in 10, it is enough to take notice.

There is a guy on ebay selling one that was painted tan, so i'm assuming its real.  I messaged him for the part number and any other information it might have on it.  I really don't want to get took for a couple hundred dollars.  Thanks for all your information.
