I want to refinish a lower. I would like to remove the parts to do the best job possible.

How do you remove the front trigger guard pin. It goes in one side, but there is not "the oppisite side" to push it out with a punch.

I thinking you hammer from the opposite side of the entry port, to get it out a little, then pull out with pliars.

I take it you didn't put her together.

Assuming the trigger guard was installed correctly, the pin with two hole to drive it out from is a pin that can be driven either way.  The pin in the blind hole (no opposing hole, nearest the magwell, not the grip) is not a pin but a detent.  Press it in and that end of the guard should pivot to lay along the front of the grip.

I did put it parts in the lower. Its been a long time.

Upon closer look, there is a roll pin that would be perpindicular to the detent. I hypothesize that when I take out the back roll pin, the trigger guard will rotate downward, exposing the oppisite hole for the roll pin holding in the detent.
