AM I correct in believing that any trigger that will work in a standard 5.56 lower will also fit in a 7.62 AR lower? I know that some will question the ability of a 5.56 trigger to properly fire 7.62 ammo, but my sole question is are triggers assemblies compatable between the two.

I took the rock river double hook out of my ar 15 and put it in my bush ar 7.62 and it works fine.

i'm just passing this along.
i sent the stock trigger from a dpms LR308 to bill springfield for a trigger job.
when  i got it back it was unaceptable, don't remember why.
it wasn't unsafe or doubling it was just poo poo.
he told me 308's have different "geometry" and to send it back
i did and he fixeed  it and its good.
this obviously wouldn't apply to drop in =, cassette style triggers.
thats all iknow about it.

JP says to use their red hammer spring in .308 guns, but that is the only difference.
