I have a Bushmaster with a 2 stage trigger from them also. The following problem will occur with a loaded gun or empty gun.
If I charge the gun pull trigger and hold it back them very slowly release trigger the hammer will fall if I let go fast 99% of the time
it will not. I get doubles or the trigger will hang up and stop the bolt half way to feeding a fresh round.
Should I increase trigger pull  weight with adjustment or could to much over travel cause this. The adjustment screws have loosened up
from time to time. Canor should I use Lock- tite . That .035 Allen wrench is so hard to gat a good bite on the lock screw.
 Thank you for your help.

It sounds like the disconnector is set to release too soon on the reset, or you have set the primary creep take-up too tight and the hammer is slipping/dancing off the primary sear on reset.
