New RRA upper installed on RRA lower first time out at the range after 6 rounds trigger locked up and could not selector to move into safe. Any ideas? Don't hammer me to bad new to AR's.

Most likely a blown primer is wedged under the trigger. I've encountered this a couple of times and each time it was a primer. Happened yesterday on my last mag. I just disassembled the gun a little while ago and found it.

Now you know where to look at the range if it happens to you again.

Dano and Tommy Gun,
 Computer down for a while so not able to reply. Thanks for the help it actually was a piece of blown primer wedged in the trigger it works fine now. Being new to AR's I felt it was better to ask than screw something up.
