Guys,

I'm working on my first build. The only hang-up I have now is what trigger I want to use.  I'm leaning toward the JP adjustable trigger with the low mass hammer, but I had originally thought I'd use the Geissele. I've also considered the KAC 2-stage.  Have any of you actually used all 3 (or any 2) of the triggers I mentioned? Any comparison of the 3 triggers with good and bad points of each pointed out would be much appreciated. I know this may all be subjective, but I'm still interested any any opinions or experiences you may have. The rifle wil be used primarily for target shooting with some varmint shooting and plinking thrown in. I won't be using it for any type of competitive, fast paced type of activities. The price difference between the 3 is fairly negligible, so that's not really a consideration. I'm planning on a rifle length MRP to put on top of this, but I have to save the cabbage for that. The rest of the lower is standard fare...GT from Denny's, RRA lpk with ambi-safety, MIAD grip, and a Magpul PRS stock. Thanks fellas!

Not used all of the above, but the JP getup would be hard to beat IMO.

The Geiselle beats all of them hands down.  I have replaced both of the Jewell triggers I had with the Geiselle and I have not seen better. I have played with a Milazzo trigger and it is nice but since they are basically impossible to find and crazy expensive dont even consider one.

Spend the $279 and go with the Geiselle.  You will not regret it.

Anyone have a link on the "Geiselle" for some research and pricing?

Thanks,

how would the Geiselle's feel compare to a RRA NM trigger?

thanks,

Is it true that the Geissele won't fit in new model Colts because of the web sear block, or does that only apply to the pinned sear blocks?

I have both and the Geissele is way ahead in feel and crisp let off. Get the service rifle version if you do get one. It has a 3.5 lb first stage and a 1 lb second. The RRA has a approx. 1 lb first stage and approx. 3.5 lb second stage.
I prefer a light second stage.
