This is my baby. I've been entertaining the idea of a camo job. Not sure on what color scheme to go with. I'm leaning towards a traditional camo pattern since I don't think I'll ever be in the desert.
Ideas and suggestions, fire away!

SilentREAPER,

Here is some visual food for thought... and while I don't have your exact weapon, hopefully this helps.

Straight OD Green works pretty well.

What kind of chest rig is that?

Thanks for the replies, and the pics.
Bangstick1 I hate to admit it but its just a plain old Cheaper Than Dirt
chest rig. It holds 9, 30 rounders. Has two storage/gear pockets on the sides, and a large map pocket on the inside. Padded and adjustable shoulder straps with a pouch for a radio.
I like it, and it works well. I know its not as sturdy as anything say from Blackhawk, but then again
I'm not in combat. Best of all was the price! $19.95
Thanks

The name "Black Rifle" stuck long before they invented Duracoat:

Just remember to do a good job!

Great pic stick! (hey, thats a rhyme)

Do you guys notice how the black front sight tower sticks out, even against a dark background?

To bad they didn't invent it for weapons.

Its too bad we don't have an AR15 member who works for Sherwin Williams.  At $30 a quart, it would be much more interesting to me.

STICKMAN-

I don't think SW makes the Polane-T in any colors we'd desire.  I think we'd be able to pick from Battleship gray, Engine Room Mint and Kitchen White.  Maybe yellow, beige or black too.

It's just too bad that LCW charges so much for making the colors we want- that's essentially what they are charging us for...

R&D Precision can do the digital camo for you, I've seen his work.. it's great, he goes by HATECA on these boards, by the way, I like what you did to the pistol grip,,, thinking outside the box.. He is pretty reasionable on price, as much as half of what most dealers will charge you.

Bongos, And others, thanks for your reply. If I paint it I'm definately doing it myself.
Bongos thanks for noticing the pistol grip. I got the Idea after holding a STRIDER knife
at a gun show. Time, patience, and a good length of para cord.
Thanks
