DPMS has titanium and chrome bolts as an upgrade. Are they more durable than the regular bolts?

I ran 10K on a chromed one.Easier to clean.Tended to wear harder on the bolt cam pin and the chromed bolt sheared metal off the barrel nut making it sharp untill it cut into the bullet jacket as they entered the chamber.I replaced the pin($4),filed off the metal from the locking lugs and went right back to shooting.I have not seen this in non hard chromed bolts of equal age although I am told it does occur in older ones(20K+).

if the std one is cheaper go with it.

imo the added cost for whatever it is "suppose" to offer isnt worth it.
