I'm in need of a good, but inexpensive scope for more accurate long-range use on my AR's.  The only scope I currently have is a Compact ACOG 3x24, and I don't think it cuts it when I want precision shooting past 150yds or so.

So, I'm looking at the Tasco's that SWFA is selling.  The uses will only be 200-400yd paper punching and possibly some varmint hunting.  Nothing "tactical".

I'd also like to move the scope between two different uppers easily.  Would anybody recommend the ARMS #22?  Would the short models be able to handle the 42mm objective on a flattop?
