I'm looking at one of these for my 16" barrel upcoming build.

Anyone have any expierience with one? They seem to be reasonably priced.

Sources to buy from?

I have one, and a Meopta 1-4x illuminated.  Take a hard look at the Meopta instead.  I was suprised at the difference up close between a true 1x and 1.25x.  I found that it's much easier to pick up targets with the 1x scope setting, and it's become my primary scope.

Other than that, the Accupoint is a good piece of glass, and the reticle is easy to pick up at intermediate distances.

I'd also seriously consider the TR-21R with the red reticle, rather than the TR-21 with the amber.  It's one of those personal choices, with people arguing both sides, but for me the red is easier to pick up against the kind of backgrounds I shoot against.

I love mine for 3-gun shooting.

Use as a red dot up close and great optics for longer distances.

I think they are great except I do not like the post reticle.
I know the post is supposed to be faster but I really wish they came with
a crosshair reticle.
Have owned amber and red Trijicons and prefer red.

I have the TR_21R also, i love the thing.  I dont see the problem with the 1.5 for close up i can still run it both eyes open.  but everybody is diffrent.  I got mine from john at rainier and the mount (spre) from larue.  Make a great combo.  The only thing i dont know is their long term durability compared to acogs, maybe someone else could help us out with that...
