I went and shot my DPMS upper yesterday.
It was a lot of work but I ran 1,000 rounds through
it Saturday. I had only 1 mag out of 4 that misbehaved during the day. Otherwise the upper
ran all day long very well with out me cleaning it.
One the one mag it would just fail to extract the
first round. Then it ran fine. So I am very happy
with the DPMS .22 setup. I highly recommend it.
I purchased my .22 dedicated upper from John
at K2 Sprts for $350. While I do not think he
will have these again at this price, he will be getting
more of them in again.

If I shot 1,000 rounds of .223 it would have cost
me $160 to $200 bucks.
Yesterday, it cost me $18 bucks.
I will have paid for the upper the next time I go shooting
by the way I run through ammo.

Yep, I've been really happy with the one I have.  It's not the M4, but the version with no FSB and an aluminum FF tube.  It's eaten everything I feed it.

I have a two of them (both DPMS M4 profile uppers) and love them.  I had to get another one because my wife liked it so much I never got to shoot it!  I did go overkill on it and have one (never used) up for sale in the EE w/5 mags if you're interested...  [:)]

How much for the mags ?
