I am interested in hearing everyones ideas/suggestions on what they would do to a Colt AR6721 (AR15-A3 Tactical Carbine) if money was not an object.

Everything form what ammo and mags to sights, etc.

I am looking for the best of everything-nothing for just show. Everything to make it the best weapon.

Have fun making suggestions, and provide links/sources where possible.

Thank you!

The best weapon is the one that is in your hands when the killing begins.

What would be wrong with that Colt just as it is?  Being a"bling" "bling" rifle does'nt make it any better.

DM1975:

What's that above the flag on your right shoulder, if you don't mind my asking?

That is a combat patch, you wear a unit patch on your right arm if you have been in combat.

10-4 the one in your hands, and the one between your ears!

The Colt is an exceptional weapon the way it is. I just want to know what "accessories" people feel good about and would use when cost is not an issue.

I am sure the Bushmasters are a competent weapon as well. I can only fantasize about issue weapons....

Magpul M93A stock
Magpul MAID grip
Magpul grip pannels
KAC URX foreend
KAC flash hider
KAC suppressor (which attaches to flash hider)
KAC 2 stage trigger...oh you said Colt... that wont fit the crappy out of spec Colt... perhaps an Accuracy SPeaks then
Aimpoint, EOtech, or TA31 in a LaRue mount
Troy BUIS
Teflon USGI mags with Magpul followers and wolff springs
Old school Magpuls turned sideways (the new floor plates reduce capacity, are not lower and lack the grippy texture around the mag body)
Wolff extractor spring
PRI charging handle
Surefire M900 (the light is the grip) or Surefire Millenium and seperate grip (clicky tail cap on light) with IR filter and ARMS throw lever mount option
Laser Devices IR OTAL
PVS-14D
Hornady TAP 75 grain ammo
Colt M16 bolt carrier
H2 or 9mm buffer
Single point sling of your choosing

There, that ought to keep you busty saving money for about the next 5-10 years.

Also if money were no object I would buy a registered reciever M16 and put the full auto KAC 2 stage trigger in there.

In the dark, at 200 yards, while people are trying to hunt you down in a foreign country?  Probably not.

Note: The LA Bank Robber was gunned down with a bone stock Bushmaster 20" with A2 sights.

I like that, what is the scope?

Where did you get the URX? Did you have to send your upper off to KAC for installation?

The above was ment as a joke... And, although the gadgets help, it still falls down to the grunt with a rifle (not a rifle with a flashlight, scope, laser, can opener, rail system, cork screw, and rubix cube)

nueboch, if you are asking me then it is an Aimpoint ML2... I think all the others pictued are aimpoints also...
