This is my first post, but I've read many. Now that the sunset has set in, as a Vietnam vet I decided to try find something similiar to what I carried in 67/68.. Colt let me down, so I went wiith a Bushmaster "M4 Type 16in Carbine with Izzy Flash Supressor", not quite what I had with the 11th ACR, but I do think it is pretty cool, so, I'll go for the Iraq new military look, with that in mind, I'm looking for a good scope. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your service

How about letting us know for what purpose the scope is to be used? CQB, 300yds? If you want the current look, it can be EOTech, Aimpoint, or ACOG

I'm more for the look than anything else. I was looking for a good pre ban M-16 when the sunset hit, changed track and deciided to go new. We do have a little hobby ranch, so a varmit gun, range 50 to 150 yards would be handy. I'll do a search on your suggestions and see what pops up. Despite the Bushmaster, I'm still in the market for a VN era M-16, but not at the gold and diamond prices that are so common

Welcome to the Forum, and thanks for your service!

BTW, Fulton Armory has "Legacy M16A1s".
Look just like the one I fired in BCT in 1970.
