LGS has one. Anyone have experience with it? Does it suffer from some of the same stuck case issues that 5.56 ARs do when shooting steel case ammo?

EDIT: What about broken bolt issues? I've heard that 7.62x39 ARs tend to break bolts...does the Bushmaster have that problem?

Stuck case issues? I have shot thousands of rounds of Wolf Military Classic 5.56 and have never had a stuck case in any of my AR's. What ammo are you referring to? Maybe this was an issue years ago with the old lacquer sealant?

At one point, many people were reporting that shooting lots of steel case ammo in 5.56 ARs could result in an occasional stuck case. The most likely culprit is that steel cases don't seal quite as well as brass and you steadily get a bit of gunk build up in the chamber that can eventually stick. Routine cleaning usually takes care of it though.

No stuck cases here either, and all I run through my x39 ARs is Russian steel case, nothing else.

I had one and it was flawless in fact I remember seeing a used one in the EE with a FF Rail and 3 mags. A local guy I know here is selling it for $525. Just throwing it out there.

Mine runs like a top. I had the typical light primer strikes and then got an enhanced firing pin. My current go-to rifle for hunting, though the Gendel I'm building may take over in that role...

Anyone ever have issues with broken bolts? 7.62x39 ARs are supposed to be bad about doing that.

That would seem to be a problem...especially since the ones that didn't break are no longer made.

While this was a custom build I did for my Son and not a Bushmaster, it shoots very accurately and after some light mods
that I did to it, it functions 100% with commercial & surplus steel cased x39mm ammo...Below was a testing phase video
clip using Wolf steel ammo and Five/Ten round ASC mags...Bolt stayed locked after last round was fired, velocity was
pretty Impressive from the 18" Bbl. at 2,520 fps.

Good Luck.
