My 7.62x39mm ARs both wear old CavArms "desert tan," for now (soon changing)...

Do you want CB as well, or just tan?

I heard that VLTOR recently changed its color of "coyote" to match other manufacturer's shade; is it the same as the CavArms coyote? Got pics of both?

Is that the new VLTOR and TagoDown grip "coyote" color in the above pic, or have they been painted? I have the older coyote and it is more brown/orange; doesn't match my CavArms coyote stuff at all.

Vltor & Tango Down have changed their colors to Flat Dark Earth from Tan. This is what Cav Arms & Magpul colors are now.

pic request:

Can someone post a pic of the new VLTOR/ TagoDown/MagPul/CavArms "coyote" color, or point out which rifl in the above pics is dressed in it? Some of the plastics look painted and I can't tell which is which. The lighting and digicam work also conspire against true color representation.

Dark Earth Casv-ELT Rail, Ergo Coyote Brown Rail and Magpul M93b stock in Coyote. I know there is no BUIS, Ameetec didn't send me one as I asked them to.. bastards..

And how the Magpul MIAD and m93b compare to Multicam:

Here's my new 7.5" with some Flat Dark Earth/Coyote stuff.  Pardon the lack of a rear sight at this time...

I wish that G27 was made in FDE!

The Casv-ELT Rail looks NICE!!

how do you like it?

Well, it's extremely cool having the extra mounting space and the option to have none at all. But the lack of being able to cowitness almost anything sucks. So, if you don't care to cowitness and just slap an AP with QD rail incase it flaws so you can still use your irons quickly, then you're g2g.

I give it a good 8/10. There are better rails, but this one is awesome.

CavArms, VLTOR, TangoDown stocks in FS30118 Flat Dark Earth

The apparent differences in shading is due to the flash. To the eye they are perfect matches.
