I recently acquired a Hakko Tacpoint Tac-1 from a fellow lister to put on my sons 10-22. After recieving what I assume is a Tac-1, I removed the fugly blue lettering, then noticed that the box end was marked TAC-S. Can someone look at their Tac-1 box and verify for me what their box is marked? Let me know if indeed I got a Tac-1 or is this a differnt model, there is no model markings on the scope other than "Tacpoint Blue Ring" (which came off easily with paint thinner) and the blue ring. No paperwork inside. Thanks Jeff

ps.Scope seems to work well in our application.

My "blue ring" was also marked tac s on one side and hak tac1 on the other. i think the "s" stands for short as it is the single ring mount model as aposed to the long or two ring model. Glad to hear it is working well for you.
