A friend of mine has one of these and is letting me borrow it for a little bit. I put it on new-argirls new M4 which is the only gun we have without an optic. Two things... after being a real fan of the donut for so, so long, I have to admit I am really warming up to the chevron. I bought my own TA31f a little while back for my A4, and now this TA11F-A has got me liking it more and more.
After playing with both for a while now, I am still a real fan of the donut, but the chevron is a pretty great reticle. I also am finding the amber pretty interesting. Again, while I still believe red to be the better overall color, I think I have seen a few instances where the amber is really useful. Like in the evening or lower light. The amber seems to come up quicker. In the day or in lighted conditions, I feel like the red still contrasts better with targets and is faster to use, but when things are darker, the amber contrasts better on the dark area.
I've just started messing with it so I dont have a whole lot to add. But Im sure I will have more to add over the time I have with it.
