First off, I think it is a BAD IDEA to put an optic on a NON Free Floated rail. With that being said, get a mount for the Aimpoint that sits up a little higher (like the LaRue Tactical). The reason is that the M73 rails sits lower than your receiver rail (if you had one).

The EOTech will mount directly onto the rail and will co-witness, but I think it sits way to low. So I would look at a mount that raises it up (like the LaRue Tactical EOTech mount).

Put your Aimpoint on the flattop upper, not out on the rail.  Put it in a LaRue mount.
