Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Surefire pressure pad problem

Has anyone ever had a Surefire pressure pad go bad on them?  The SU06 on my 961 after two months of little use sticks on and won't shut off.  I called them today and they said they would have to call me back and let me know when they can replace it.

The Sure Fire lights that come with the fore end like the HK MP5 usually have no problems. The units that use the individual light and the pig tail pressure pad is prone to wire fraying at the point it enters the light tailcap which could cause the short causing the light to stay on.
