I just brought a bushmaster M4A3 recently and I attahced a surefire M73 Quad Rail onto it. Yesterday, I was firing at the range. After about 300 rounds, the handguard started to come off. Is it just me or does anyone else have that problem with the surefire rail? It could be that I didn't install them correctly? But that's not likely.

When you installed them did the Delta Ring seat properly? Nice and snug on the handguards?

Ditto. Did you tighten the top two scews and loctite them in?

That must be it, i didn't use loctite because I thought they were "nice and snug" enough. Thank you guys

That's actually one of the few screws on my AR that I haven't loctited. Of course, I cranked those suckers down hard enough to dimple the metal under them.

I have 6000 rounds through mine without using loctite, still tight as all hell.

Loctite... I've got maybe 1000 rounds through mine so far and no loosening...
