I was looking at pick up a Surefire Scout M300A for my build.  The light is small and light but not easily detachable due to the oem clamp.  Would an ARMS #17S (short) work for this application?

Larue Mount

This is what I have and like it a lot.  Much easier than the factory thumb screw.

ETA - Not sure about that particular ARMS mount though, sorry.

This is probably the best mount for a Scout.

I was just turned on to this mount the other day.  Better position and half the price of Larue.  The OE or LT mount sticks the light too far away from the rail.  The DCC mount tucks it in where it should be.

Thanks for the info.  I thought ARMS might be be the only company that would carry a mount for the scout because I have seen them as OEM on the other Surefire weapon lights.  At least there are other options.
