Just found one in our dept inventory from 1999. Still in the wrapper and orig box with paperwork. Seems to work great. Plan to mount on my duty Colt M4 soon.

Any comments? Price is right, anyway...

Cheers!

Holy crap! Are these really $600!?!?!?! We have two of them just coolin' their heels in our arms room. Jeeeesh! Might as well mount one on my rifle! Our retied Lt for SWAT was a real gun nut and ordered all kinds of cool stuff. How'd he get this purchase past them?!?!

I've got the L75. Nice tight beam/dot. It zeroed easy and has never drifted. I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

I've got the L75 too and it's a good stuff indeed so I think the L72'd be the same quality even if I do not see many uses for a visible laser.

Agreed on not too many applications for laser, visible that is. I suppose the intimidation factor is there, and for use with gas mask.....anyway....

Thanks for the input.

Cheers!

What kind of mounts do you have and where do you intend to mount it? I have an L72 in what is probably the most expensive mounts I could dream up (ARMS 22 LOW rings) but it works and will repeat it's zero EVERY TIME. The reason I ask about the mounting method is I recommend getting the laser in line with the bore (either at 12 o’clock or a 6 o’clock) so that you don't have to deal with the offset of wind age as well as elevation when you shoot at a different yardage than what your laser is Zeroed at. For that reason ALONE the L72 / L75 is superior to EVERY other laser that has an offset mount.

By the way My L72 REALLY wants to be an L75.
