What is the correct size/model# for the Butler Creek flip-up cover for the eyepiece of the SS 10X?

How does one remove the knobs to replace the O-rings?

SUPER SNIPER

10x42 (both models): 20 EYE, 30 OBJECTIVE (uses #3 ARD killFlash)
16x42: 20 EYE, 30 OBJECTIVE (uses #3 ARD killFlash)

You remove the knobs with the little allen wrench that it comes with (or one the same size) There are 3 screws around the circumfrence edge. Remove the screws and pull up. If you want to zero the knobs, loosen and turn

One more question:  What size O-rings are you supposed to use to replace the factory rings?  I replaced them with CR43's, and the up/down turret still feels mushy, even with the silicon grease.

Checked over on SniperHide.com for info. Here is the fix-

Goto either a Home Depot, Lowes or a Ace Hardware. Look for-

O-rings

Danco#30

7/8" OD x 3/4" ID x 1/16"


I went and found mine at Ace Hardware, in the plumbing section. I just changed them out and what a difference. I can not only close my eyes and feel the clicks, I can hear them too.
